Night at the Museum 2
Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian.
    Some comments to this film:
1)Really really bad movie. Badly put together and horrible in comparison to the first movie. The whole movie has maybe 3 good jokes which are over used not only in the commercials, but in the whole movie as well. The scenes are strung together very weakly, and you’ll be wondering how you got from giant sea monsters to Oscar the Grouch. If you REALLY want to see it, just wait untill it comes on TV.
2)Although this movie had its funny parts, it did not meet the high bar set by the original. This movie was missing the sense of pandemonium and realism of the first movie. The museum exhibits coming to life in the first movie were more realistic and the humor came from their interactions. The acting of some of the characters in this sequel was over the top. I really struggled with Hank Azaria’s part for Kahmunrah ? not a good match. The Darth Vader scene, which had potential of being great, was awkward at best. Taking the good and bad for this movie, it would be still worth seeing with the family as long as you expectation are not too high.
3)The movie was good enough for Rental. Not much action really for the theaters. Ben Stiller was great as usual, if he was not in the movie it would have bombed. Amy Adams was terrific. But when Ben and Amy had a long talking sequence together in front of President Lincoln i felt like I was on a roller coaster that just crashed and needed to wait for it to be fixed before moving on. Robin Williams could have been included a bit more. Hank Azaria seemed to ramble on a bit much. Otherwise it was what you would expect for a sequel.
4)Another good movie the whole family should see. It keeps you on your toes throughout it, and there are some jokes that would especially make us older folks laugh. I don’t think people should be rushing to see it, but I think it is a “see” movie.
5)okay by jerp jerp this movie was okay but i thought the first movie was better.
