Improve Guitar Speed
1. Make Speed Your Goal
If you want to get faster at playing guitar then you should make that an explicit goal. Fill your goal list with songs and new techniques to learn then you won’t have time to work on your speed.
To make best progress at increasing your speed work with techniques and songs you know already. Set speed goals for them and track them.
2. Practice Every Day
To move quickly around the fingerboard your fingers must get to know it intimately. Daily practice is the best way to ensure this, so if you are not practicing every day then make sure you start.
3. Slow Practice
To get faster you often have to get slower. More speed results from better accuracy and the best way to ensure your finger movements are accurate is to practice slowly.
4. Reduce Finger Movement
To play guitar faster you must reduce the amount of movement your fingers make. Use slow practice to study each chord change, scale or lick and try to figure out how to play the same thing while moving your fingers less.
5. Take Your Mind Off It
Your own concentration can be a barrier to faster playing. When you concentrate intensely, thinking about every movement you make your muscles move less fluidly and your overall playing will be slower.
Try to let your mind wander as you practice and give your autopilot a chance to take control. You can develop this ability by playing with distractions - turn on the TV, chat with someone, or go and practice out doors in a place where there’s plenty to watch.
6. Film Your Fingers
An effective way to see how efficient your finger movements are is to film yourself. Fix a camera focused closely on your fingering or picking hand as you practice - for best results film from several angles. When you review your film you’ll notice problems you don’t see while you play.
7. Get The Right Tools
There’s no doubt about it, the right tool makes any job easier. Make sure you have at least one of the following tools to help you practice your guitar speed: metronome, jam tracks, sampler/looper, slow-down (and speed up!) software, Guitar Pro (has loops and speed controls), guitar speed trainer software, guitar speed training program.

Internet Music Marketing
1) Your Fans - Your Business
A person does not like to be turned down by their idol by numerous ignored messages. The amount of messages you have not responded to over the internet, is approximately the amount of money missing from your wallet multiplied by $5, or whatever amount you sell your music or product for.
This doesn’t mean sit down and have coffee with every fan that gives you a thumbs up and you don’t even have to take them fishing. Just show that you care by responding to their messages. You can even go as far as asking them to put your banner and music on their page. You can get a PayPal account and begin paying your fans if you want. This technique alone can bring massive success in a short period of time and cut your internet music marketing efforts in half.
2) Great Websites
YouTube Make videos of yourself and most importantly, type in anything about making money with music and get free info!
Blogger.com - Blog about yourself all day for free and get paid for it through the Google AdSense program. YouTube will explain all of this through tutorials.
SoundStation.com - Easily sell your albums and mixtapes. Free to set up.
Myxer.com - Easily sell your ringtones which used to be free, but now there’s a low fee.
PressExposure.com - Write more about yourself all day for free.
CDBaby.com - For $35 get your music on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and more.
3) Internet Music Marketing!
It may seem obvious by now, but you have to promote! Many people don’t discuss this online music marketing tip however, I don’t feel like wasting anyone’s time pretending like everything you need was already mentioned above. My favorite music marketing technique is called keyword research.
You go into the Google keyword suggestion tool or the free word tracker tool and type in a broad music term. These tools will take the broad phrase and give you longer tailed phrases that you can easily rank for in the search engines by putting them on your webpage once every 100 words. You can also take these phrases along with the same method and write articles and blogs directing them back to a YouTube music video or your MySpace page to generate rich web traffic. More on this below.

Bhutanese Community
The third country resettlement program has come as a great opportunity, which, if we can grab, can make a great difference in our community’s life. We of course have a long way to go and to face many choices and challenges before we can see our goals getting materialized. But if we can traverse our journey together taking respective responsibility in good faith, we can definitely see the fruition of our dreams.
In the present phase of transition, we are observing diverging and contradicting views on every issue. We are not able to understand and appreciate each other. Sometime it is frustrating. Our past still seems to be trying to pull us down and keep us in fractured, feeble and faltering state. However, the has now opened up the options for us to choose between the highway of progression and the narrow path of regression. Surely, many of us will choose the former one, because we believe in the power of human creativity and the unstop-able force of transformation and progress of humanity.
Bhutanese community as a fraction of humanity has many many rungs to climb up the ladder of civilization. There are many forces that are still trying to hold us back in the lowest rung of civilization ladder and keep us ever backward. We should now strive and overpower those forces and help the global Bhutanese community to go higher in the ladder of civilization. I, for one, strongly believe that art-culture is one aspect through which we can bring about transformation in an individual as well as in the community. It is the common ground where we can all together toil, enrich and grow. The has, undoubtedly, given the Bhutanese youth a great opportunity to build a socio-cultural vision and to transform our community into inclusive, cohesive, strong, stable and exemplary entity. If the youth shoulders this responsibility, they will, in the long run, leave behind a legacy which shall be cherished from generation to generation.
I would strongly like plead all young resettled Bhutanese to come forward with a social and cultural vision and embark on a mission to give new depth and dimension to our community. I will always stand by and support your endeavor in whatever small ways I can - and I will do it with utmost sincerity, dedication and devotion.

Baroque Period Music
I do of course also like some of the sad and dark moments in the baroque music era as well, one that i love is didos lament (when i am laid in earth) from henry purcells opera dido and aeneas. This aria is really beautiful and very sad indeed, it cannot fail to move anyone almost to tears.
One really cannot do justice to the baroque period, which spans from about 1600 to 1750. With the wealth of composers contained within that timeframe, in just the brief context of this article. But we can list a few of the composers and some of my personal favourites.
George Friderich Handel.
1/ Lascia Ch’io Pianga (let me lament my cruel fate) from
rinaldo.
2/ Ombra mai fù from his opera xerxses (known as his largo)
3/ The Sarabande (3 beat dance)
4/ Sound an Alarm from his oratorio Judas Maccabeus.
Johan Sebastian Bach.
1/ Double violin concerto
(The Concerto for 2 Violins, Strings and Continuo in D
Minor, BWV 1043)
2/ The bach Cello Suites.
Antonio Vivaldi.
1/ The Four Seasons (spring,summer,autumn,winter)
2/ The mandolin concertos
Tomaso Albinoni
1/ The Oboe Concerto,s
2/ Adagio for Strings.
Johan Pachelbel
1/ Pachelbel,s Cannon (Canon in D major )
Gregorio Allegri
1/ Miserere mei, Deus” (Latin: “Have mercy on me, O God”).
This is a truly beautiful piece of music.
I really hope i have managed to give you an appetite, and you will now explore the diverse amount of music contained within the baroque period.
